Too late for #FoxOfTheDay Chris Packham but this was a nice surprise for us RSPB_OldMoor. It was in the distance, apparently he has learned from his mother how to swim across to islands for a snack!!

Oops The Yorkshire Post be prepared for a full mailbox. The picture is of Stainborough Castle part of the other Wentworth owned by the National Trust and about 5 miles from the quoted Wentworth Woodhouse. Call the photo editor in!!!

One thing I learn from Whitehouse and Mortimer; Gone Fishing (and tbh impresses me) is just how large some of our freshwater fish actually are. John Tomsett

On a roll! a blog post of my recent reading. You might find something to intrigue you. It is very wide in its scope. Contributions from Efrat Furst Alex Quigley Ben Rogers ๐ฆ agittner.wordpress.com/2024/10/15/a-rโฆ

Very patient driving from an articulated lorry driver for The Range UK coming out of Barnsley this am along Sheffield Road. The central islands made it difficult for them to overtake me on my cycle but an exemplary pass when it was appropriate. Thank you

Poignant images from Ian Beesley at Salt Mills. An important record of our industrial heritage. And accompanied by poignant words from Ian McMillan Please zoom in and read the story of Dolly.

Sadly I no longer feel that I wish to continue with this platform Elon Musk . Sorry to those people like Ian McMillan Tom Sherrington Dylan Wiliam and many others whose opinions and comments I value, from now on I will be concentrating on #threads #instagram and #bluesky

Good evening sorry to bother you. Kevin Smith We had a club member pushed off their bike on Sunday by a passenger in a car. Two cyclists down one needed to go to hospital. It has been reported, what is going to be the best way to keep a track on what is happening with this?

As I know he is still on here I just wanted to thank Ian McMillan once again for his funny but thought provoking poetry. Came across this book in a charity shop. It is definitely not just for children. Destiny Girls and Visiting Grandad were almost too much for me.

Lovely evening tonight with Ian McMillan and friends in Darfield. One of those lovely gentle community events, that there are not enough of. Thanks for the invite BLTP ๐บ๐ฆ
