Last Friday we had our first review meeting since the project started and it went very well! 🥳

It was great to showcase everything we've done so far to our reviewer - and a little confidence boost for ourselves to see how much we accomplished! 😊

Today get acquainted with our second partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦: Bauxite Mines Posušje! They are part of our field research work and are working alongside other partners on data processing and applications & the organisation of public events.

Two weeks ago GEONARDO welcomed a group of enthusiastic students pursuing a Master's degree in #SustainableDevelopment from TU Dublin / OT Baile Átha Cliath to Budapest.

We introduced them to our project's mission & encouraged them to follow our work. Thank you for the compelling questions!

🗣️ News flash: we recently took part in the XLV Winter School of Rock Mechanics and Geoengineering in Poland 🇵🇱 , where our colleague Dr. Eng. Marcin Szumny presented the results of the pilot muographic measurements in the Lubin mine.

Day 3️⃣ of our #GeneralAssembly meeting in Salamanca 🇪🇸 was dedicated to a visit to the Barruecopardo #tungsten mine ran by SALORO SLU.

We got familiar with the company's operations & their efforts to preserve the natural environment in the area. Thank you for welcoming us!

Here's what we are up to now: a round table discussion with partners from University of Zambia, Muon Solutions, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Radai & KGHM Cuprum on our research visits in the AGEMERA trial areas 🏔️. Productive discussions taking place 🧡.

Day 2️⃣ of the #AGEMERA project meeting just kicked off with a workshop on intellectual property management, with a focus on patenting. We're honoured to have Maarit Jokela from University of Oulu conduct the workshop and cannot wait to learn more!

After a short but well-deserved coffee and cake break ☕, we are back in the Aula for our #GA meeting, with Ari Saartenoja of Radai who provided an update of the third work package & the innovative (non-invasive) technologies we use in #AGEMERA . 🔍
