As an alum of UW–Madison and Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE) I’m horrified to see the aggressive arrest of Samer Alatout a prominent Palestinian scholar whose work represents foundational contributions to an anti-zionist political ecology.

This is Palestinian American professor Samer Alatout. He had just asked the police to leave the students alone. He later said he saw & heard the cops point at him and say “we want him”.
