Meet Jess Yost, another of our new committee members!

First week almost complete in Western Australia. Spent my first few days with Cooper who's a member of AgConnectWA, he works on a farm near Narrogin. Had some hands on experience back fat scanning ram lambs, ear marking and also toured the farms Quinoa seed processing plant.

This sequin onsie will be going on tour! Who wants to host the next event! Well done AgConnectWA for your leadership!

Diwrnodau dwetha wedi bod yn brysur! Stayed with Jess (who visited us in july) at her home near Toodyay where the family run Liberty Cattle stud. She took me to Dowerin field days, and we also visited the biggest under-cover livestock facility in the southern hemisphere!😅

Wythnos brysur arall😅! Great tour around Genstock WA breeding services in Kojonup on Tuesday. Good insight into the world wide sheep industry, also future and present issues facing the industry! Thanks for having me!

Coming to the end my journey around WA. Spent a few days with Jacob who works for Living Farm in York. They are an independent company that specialise in the running of trial plots for seed companies. Monitoring crop yield with different chemical, fertiliser and seed varieties.
