Our latest ice hockey work published in Int'l Journal of Sports Physiology and Performance Human Kinetics. No argument that skating speed is important, but perhaps other determinants of on-ice performance should be a greater focus given how little players skate at high speeds journals.humankinetics.com/view/journals/…

Now ahead of print: Investigating the Relevance of Maximal Speed and Acceleration in Varsity-Level Female Ice Hockey Players by Alexander S.D. Gamble, Kyle Thompson, Jessica Bigg, Christopher Pignanelli, Lawrence Spriet, @DrBurr journals.humankinetics.com/view/journals/…

Awesome time collaborating with Rowing Canada Aviron, and the gang over in Victoria, BC! The athletes were great to work with and some exciting findings that will hopefully convince other elite groups to begin documenting their training with blood flow restriction.
