Way to go! Create alternatives then enforce laws instead of the typical displace without options that is a relic of Oga Rasak military era.

Very bold policies from day one from this administration. Politician typically wait till 2nd term but it seems there’s a good guarantee of mandate. I wonder what we’ll see in 2nd term; state/regional police, restructuring, census, resource control???

My non-popular opinion is doing a complete overhaul of Lagos Island into a residential hub with a small corporate businesses and other essentials lining the Marina. Relocate and regulate the markets, too many fire incidents & safety hazards.

Seeing some Spotify updates on the TL and got confused because I have definitely been using Spotify before 2021. Another quick question, does this mean that Spotify was not classifying the data of Nigerian subscribers pre-2021 as Nigerian streams.

A lot of people (read Pan-African activists) do not know we are a heavily subsidized society; healthcare, education, power, transportation are paid for by aids, grants and unsustainable debt structures.

I like when we use the law to test the law and we get the best out it the law. Kudos to Esther* for doing this. A lot of Nigerians (including me) are not litigious and would rather leave it to β€œGod”.

Our world is changing. The last time we experienced this much change in the workplace was during the Industrial Revolution. Get along with the program folks, don’t be left behind. Jack has done the right and humane thing here!

When I saw this tweet, I went on Google Gemini and wrote; β€œI work as a ….., here’s my JD and KPI, what is the probability of AI replacing my role?” β€œHere’s my skill sets and career progression, what edge do I have and what do I need to do to get ahead” Interesting answers I got.

The AI race is one of the most impressive things to happen to humanity. Unbelievable things are happening and life changing products are shipped daily! Good to be alive to witness this!

Oil price will react to the ongoing crisis, Nigeria will earn more $$ but Nigerians will pay more for PMS. Can we produce enough to cover the shortfall in the global markets? Are we well positioned to get increased demand in the market if the straits and canals were blocked?
