Please tell me that every SO has thoughts of the “free” life at the end of every season. I love what I do but I can’t lie I always think what if I didn’t have to spend my day typing up PDFs that ppl don’t read 🤔

Anyone else live this rollercoaster of 200% motivated one day ready to take on the world, revamp studio, be the best & then the next day -67% motivated to do anything with my life, i suck at dance and I should prob apply to McDonald’s kinda day. I need to know this is normal...

Butt glue is as important of a costume piece as a bra. By this point in the season you should have realized that your rear end is eating your costume and you need glue.

You're never too good to take class with someone younger or less skilled than you. And you'll become stronger by continually revisiting the basic foundations of your training.

Teachers: if you aren’t offering your classes depth and inspiration, and if youre putting routines on stage yr after yr looking same ol same ol... dont be mad when you’ve been replaced. It’s all about SUBSTANCE

My comp students keep saying to me, “Wow, we’re moving fast this year, and every dance is wonderful, and why is everything so great?” Well sweeties, this is what happens when all the trash has left the studio finally 👋🏼 #productivity Everyone who is left is here to work!

Coaches: When you work with youth, their development trumps winning games. The emphasis should be on teaching skills & teaching them to play correctly. Not teaching plays & playing zone. Winning is important but not more so than teaching fundamentals. Start w/ the ending in mind.

Just a general thought from a SO: If attending a small studio where the SO knows every single child personally and their abilities, STOP questioning where they place your kid. It is for a reason. They are NOT punishing your kiddo! Let us do our job PLEASEEEEEE
