This woman clearly isn’t well and not fit for her Parliamentary role. Time she retired, sadly she’s content riding that MP gravy train. Only one person thought they were above the law that night and that was Chris Kaba.

Finally a CPS decision to charge the two subjects at Manchester Airport who assaulted police officers. Welcome news too that all officers involved aren’t facing any criminal charges. Although whether the IOPC will have a second bite at the cherry is still to be seen.

Merry Christmas to all that follow. Thank you for your continued support. To those who are working and to my other emergency service colleagues — look after each other and have a safe one.

MP’s to get a 2.8% pay rise this April to now earn £93,904. Same old rules — regardless of the political party in charge. Of course they have to accept it and have no say whatsoever in their salaries by the “Independent” Parliamentary Standards Authority.

“The Police Federation of England and Wales is exposed as a hollowed-out, leaderless, paranoid shell of an institution, incapable of representing its members or restoring public trust. It is, by any reasonable standard, unfit for purpose.” #BreakingTheMonopoly

Thoughts are with those of the firefighters, their families and colleagues who died and those injured last night in Bicester.

This is so true. Something needs to change. It’s infuriating hearing commentators on the MSM endorsing every other public sector’s right to take industrial action, withhold labour, strike or have a trade union. But the police are left with nothing.

Rightfully a guilty verdict for one of these suspects at least. A re-trial for the others should follow. Hopefully some important lessons will be learnt by those in prominent positions who were far too quick to judge and voiced support to the offenders. gmp.police.uk/news/greater-m…
