Could not agree more - Ṣẹ̀yẹ Abímbọ́lá is a leader of dialogue and engagement. Speaking truth to power always. Asking difficult questions of us all. His voice is vital in global health and BMJ Global Health is a space of critical thinking. We need it more every day.

This is the time when the Global South has to come together. On security, on global health (include medicines and vaccine R&D), on more direct trade routes, on economic agenda, on borders. Moral failures of the West are blinding. Even if it takes 50, 70, 100 years. It starts now.
