Whilst I mostly agree we need to help Ukraine, I wonder if UK gifting an amount equiv to 10% of the NHS annual budget is a sensible spend when it takes 3 weeks to get a doc appt and there are people dying in A&E corridors and we are desperate for decent staff in our hospitals.

No British troops in Ukraine. At least not until we have our own hospitals in a decent state, schools are not crumbling, roads are not full of car-knackering pot-holes and our UK economy is looking stable. Then we should have a discussion about our role in the world's politics.
