Lots of bullish claims about Used #EV sales growth being a "turning point" but worth reflecting new BEV sales in 2019 were 1.6% (up from 0.6% in 2018) so at 1.6% used BEV sales in 2023 (~double 2022) whilst good, it feels more like natural market evolution than revolution? 🤔

Stats (thanks Zapmap ) to May show the 36% increase YTD in Ultra Rapid CP numbers is keeping the public charging capacity growth ahead of #BEV car number growth (just). Those 8% of 'Ultra rapid' public chargers provide 46% of the public kW capacity available. 👏

The SMMT annual sustainability report is always a really interesting read and a credit to the hard work of the team who pull it together. This year in particular some real positive highlights, but one figure of concern is the drop in BEV share of production (p32) - one to watch!
