“Warplanes of the Third Reich” is one of the most detailed books I’ve ever read involving World War II aircraft. The section about all the Bf-109 variants could be its own book by itself. Highly recommended for any aviation or history enthusiasts.

“Flight of the Intruder” by Stephen Coonts is probably my all time favorite aviation novel. Coonts uses his own experience as an A-6 Intruder pilot in Vietnam to make a detailed description of day-to-day flight operations, combat and life at sea.

TF-16N NSAWC 1:72 scale. Gonna do some repairs on it in the near future. If you can’t tell by my current PFP, I’m particularly fond of this aircraft.

One of my favorite models is this Motorworks F-14A Tomcat from VF-2 Bounty Hunters off of the USS Constellation. I have another one from when I was a kid that’s boxed up before I repair it from VF-111.

Let me know if you have any topics you would like to see in a future video! Taking requests for military aviation history in particular.

Excellent video from Growler Jams. A lot of people think refueling with a drogue is universally easier than a boom refueling just because you can see it. Turbulence has other plans. youtu.be/JDTRmF8PPgY?si…

Hopefully before summer, I’ll have this finished. It’s a video I’m working on about the “MiG-28” from Top Gun and why it’s actually more practical than most people think.

The F-15E Strike Eagle isn’t known for being the greatest at BFM but, good luck even getting into a merge against this beast. Capable of carrying up to eight of a combination AIM-9 Sidewinders and AIM-120 AMRAAMs, it has great BVR capabilities.

The F-100D Super Saber is credited with one kill and it’s the first US air-to-air kill of the war. Capt. Don Kilgus pursed a North Vietnamese MiG-17 in a steep dive from 20,000ft down to 7,000ft where he fired several rounds of his 4x20mm M39 cannons into its right stabilator.
