Looking at the 15 year trend of losses, Trim says it is cause for celebration that we have a more realistic picture of losses and membership compared to previous reports, this due in part by the membership reviews now taking place at every local church.

The membership reviews being completed regularly at all church levels, also reveal missing memberships as presented below:

Trim shares an important graphic sharing the cumulative losses, a report he shares at every Annual Council as well as GC Session, revealing a trend which in effect shows more than 4 of every 10 church members are "slipping away."

It takes 12.5 people to accomplish one new membership, according to this report from Trim.
