I understand why people don’t like VAR but the idea there was some golden age that VAR took us away from is nonsense. We’d now just be listening to how United were eliminated by an offside goal. Hatred of United doesn’t make that a better footballing outcome.

Tory government financial plans include significant cuts to funding for the police, wider criminal justice system and many other critical public services. Tories want to end national insurance with huge risks to pensions and the NHS. Enough is enough. Vote for change on 2nd May.

Fantastic to see US House of Representatives vote, at last, by big majority for vital military assistance to Ukraine. A big day for NATO solidarity and for defence of democracy. A big defeat for the far right and far left supporters of Putin Russia Imperialism. #SlavaUkraini
