Google pics reminds me that 10 yrs ago today was a landmark day for me & others living with diabetes: the first gathering of #GBDoc in Nottingham - many meeting other #pwd socially for the first time. So much has changed, but it remains a life-changing day for me & many others.

I'm proud to be part of the team that brings #TAD2025 to Liverpool once again. Real people, real stories, real friendship, in a wonderful venue. We hope that the summer date will suit many. Do come and join us.

An overnight North Sea crossing to start my trip with Rosanagh Long to Bad Brückenau to meet with Kirkham Twinning friends. I'll never tire of watching the fabulous teamwork of the serving staff in the P&O Ferries restaurant. Making a complex job look simple. 👏👏👏

When in France, I'm irrestibly attracted to flunch; when in Germany, it's NORDSEE: fishy fast food with a German twist.

The wonderful building-block structure of the German Language creates words which explain complex concepts with impeccable logic. It is therefore a particular pleasure to be in Germany on this day they call #christihimmelfahrt Yes, it's "Christ's Heaven Trip" day.👌
