A5 – Quickly review the exam to determine what types of questions are on there and the point values for the different questions and sections so you’ll know how to pace yourself. #adpichat

A5 – For example if the multiple choice section is worth 5 points each for a total of 90 points while the true false is each 1 point, you would start with the multiple choice section. #adpichat

A5 – For essay tests, make an outline with bullet points to follow. It will help you formulate your argument and use your time more wisely. The 5 paragraph format is usually best. #adpichat

A6 – Don’t be afraid to skip a question and come back. Watch for that on your scantron. Mark it on your test and move on. Research shows students who skip around do better. #adpichat

A7 – Go thru the test to make sure you didn’t miss any questions, and that you answered everything completely. #adpichat

A7 – If a scantron test, make sure your scantron matches the answers you selected on the hard copy of the test. #adpichat

A7 ¬- Do not leave anything blank! Even if you don’t know the answer, take an educated guess. The professor might give you partial credit. The only exception to this is if you have been informed that incorrect answers will count against you. This very rare though. #adpichat
