14 years ago today, Roger Federer ended Novak Djokovic’s 41-match winning streak with an ace. The finger wag celebration. The scream. The adrenaline of winning the match before nightfall. One of the most thrilling sports moments of my life.

So bloody happy for Virat Kohli. He deserved this one, he really did. 18 years to win one felt like a bloody eternity… can only imagine just how hard it must’ve weighed on him. #RCB #IPL

I’m only just processing what happened and I don’t necessarily disagree with this. The level we’ve seen these two play today, the destructive tennis from Sinner in the 2nd, the incredible yet unbelievable fortitude to survive from Alcaraz in the 4th and then win… phew! Unreal!

This one is funny because Kolo and Lijnders were apparently options but since they’re Man City, they just went ahead and got both.
