After an insightful presentation, we will listen to a presentation from Reza Younesi, from @UU_University and founder of Altris. He will give a talk on “Understanding Ageing in Sodium-ion Batteries”

The next speaker will be Prof. Peter Axmann, from ZSW. He will give a talk titled “P2-NaxMn1-yNiyO2 cathode materials with controlled particle architecture and their aging phenomena”

After the break, Andreas Haas, from Northvolt, will present a talk titled “Challenges and opportunities of sodium-ion giga-scale production”

After another great presentation, Dr. Julian Wagenschütz, from Volkswagen Group, will give a talk on “Benefits and Challenges of SIB from an Automotive OEM Perspective”

To finish the day we will listen to Tom Bötticher, from Litona GmbH. He will give us a talk on “Overview on sodium-ion battery materials from an industrial standpoint”

To start the final day, Juergen Janek, from JLU, will present a talk titled “Sodium Solid State Batteries and their Materials Challenges”

After a great initial presentation, Daniel Rettenwander, from NTNU, will talk about “Revealing the Reaction Mechanism and Chemo-Mechanics of Solid-State Na-S Batteries”

Before the break, Prof. Dina Fattakhova-Rohlfing, from Forschungszentrum Jülich | @[email protected], will present a talk titled “Exploring the possibilities of NaSICON solid electrolytes for new generation of low- temperature batteries”

The first talk after the break will be given by Dr. Meike Heinz, from Empa. She will talk about “Correlating cathode microstructure, performance, and cycle life of sodium-zinc chloride (Na-ZnCl2) battery cells”

Continuing on high-temperature batteries, Dr. Matthias Schulz, Fraunhofer IKTS, will be the next speaker. He will talk about “An old ZEBRA in a New Guise: From Materials Science to Commercial Na-NiCl2 Battery”

Before the lunch break, Dr. Florian Dötz, from BASF, will be presenting a talk titled “High-Energy, Long-Duration Sodium-Sulfur (NAS®) Battery for Stationary Energy Storage”

After the lunch break, the first talk will be given by Dr. Guosheng Li, from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory . He will give a presentation on “Advanced Intermediate Temperature Molten Sodium Battery Technologies”

After an insightful talk, Magdalena Graczyk-Zajac, from EnBW, will give us a presentation about “Towards sustainable, grid connected Sodium-Ion stationary storage systems”

To finish off the symposium, Dr. Ronnie Morgensen, founder and CTO of Altris, will give a talk titled “Altris Sodium-ion Cell Design, Pure & Powerful”
