Giving my rare festival perfect score to Raven Jackson’s aching personal portrait ALL DIRT ROADS TASTE OF SALT. It’s so spellbinding and nourishing; the best thing I’ve seen at #Sundance by a mile. My review via The Playlist theplaylist.net/all-dirt-roads…

ALL DIRT ROADS TASTE OF SALT is a #Sundance must-see. Director Raven Jackson has made a monumental work of elemental soulfulness and ravishing poetry. I tried to do it justice in my review for TheWrap. Hope you check it out: bit.ly/3iUc0Wr

All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt (which opens tomorrow) is as exhilarating on second and third viewings as it was on the first; the film is as exquisite as it is passionate, and it's accomplished in every regard; a quietly spectacular début by Raven Jackson: newyorker.com/culture/the-fr…

“Exquisite use of close-ups, fluid editing and a deeply observant sound design renders Mack’s story tactile but also poetic, making plain that the salt here is the stuff of tears, the stuff of sorrows and of joys.”

Look fwd to the dialogue here. Surprised frequently by the # of folks who don’t realize PGA is not a union. (Producers have no credit protection, no wage minimums, no pension, no healthcare; on each film we must write appeals to prove we did our jobs bc credit proliferation)
