Blackburn Rovers 1 - 2 CITY League Cup 1st Round Att 9,855 (3,296 #bcafc) Some away end to be part of last night! Rewarded with fight on the pitch reminiscent of a few more famous nights in this competition. Strong second half in particular after conceding just before half time.

Otley Town 1 - 4 Harlow Hill West Yorkshire League Division 1 Att c.45 (h/c) An overdue ✅️ of the Old Showground on Wednesday night. A deserved win for the visitors but more importantly the well stocked Clubhouse was particularly welcome on such a warm evening! #groundhopping

Stockport County 1 - 2 CITY League One Att 9,641 (1,201 #bcafc) Must have nodded off at half time because - you'll like this - after that first 45 mins seem to have dreamt that we somehow produced an almighty turnaround to win it with a ridiculous save. Crazy, I know!

Campion 2 - 2 Handsworth NCEL Premier Division Att 88 Campion looked destined for the three points, but the visitors taking a share of the spoils back down the M1 - completing a 10 minute turnaround with the last kick of the game from the spot #groundhopping

Peterborough United 1 - 1 CITY League One Att 8,874 (1,988 #bcafc) Without really finding our rhythm in the first half & switched off after the stoppage late on - one that got away. But would have bitten your hand off for four points from the last two! We'll take that!

Croston Sports 0 - 0 Lytham Town West Lancashire League Division One Att 371 Sunday's early kick-off in the inaugral West Lancs Hop was just about as entertaining no score draw as you'll see! Great hosts (anywhere that hands out free biscuits can do no wrong)! #groundhopping

Hesketh Bank 6 - 2 Turton FC West Lancashire League Division One Att 401 The hop rolled on to game two of Sunday... and the goals followed! Some real moments of quality from Hesketh and hosting too (a curry house within the vicinity, what more can you ask for?!) #groundhopping

Burscough Richmond 2 - 1 Lostock St Gerards West Lancashire Premier Division Att 407 The third and final game of Sunday to round off an excellent day on the West Lancs Hop. Competitive footy, great hospitality and good company! #groundhopping

Tempest United 3 - 2 Rossendale FC West Lancashire League Premier Division Att 470 A superb West Lancs Hop concluded with the quickest goal and biggest crowd of the weekend at "The Famous Shed". Two a piece at halftime, the hosts won it in the 87th minute! #groundhopping

Stoke City 0 - 3 CITY League Cup 2nd Round Att 9,947 (2,059 #bcafc) Tuesday night's in Stoke don't really get much better than that. The "Alexander press" on full display again to sweep away another, albeit much changed, Championship opponent. Well and truly packed!
