This is a slightly lame post but I finally picked up this figure to start painting it and just thought the crispness of the casting was outstanding…it’s from Royal Model…🤷‍♂️😊

Nice delivery from Italy to go with the Das Werk kit for my future ‘railway carriage house’ project…👍😊

This may look dodgy but it’s not…when I last used the gravel & sand fixer I had trouble controlling how much I dispensed from a plastic pipette & where it went, so next time I am going to try using a small syringe…it doesn’t seem to glue up the syringe but time will tell…🤔😊

Trying to do this by eye & I know that the high/low lights are too high/low & too thick so I’ve started to thin them down and added a diluted wash of the base colour over them (L figure). At some point I’ll just settle for OK with these figures as it’s all learning & growth…🤷‍♂️👍

Current thoughts on X…I’m only still here because of scale modelling, books and music and the occasional nice cat/dog. The politics on here I am just disengaging with…no sensible discussion to be had anymore…egos & dogma…here’s a few models…🙄

I think I’ve only ordered and received three ‘full’ kits so far this year…this is a little unprecedented for me…oh and one record on vinyl…but the books…well let’s not talk about the books…🤦‍♂️😊

Decided to block accounts that ‘annoy’ me…these include those that are misogynistic, racist, politically right wing & just generally nasty…I appreciate that this won’t change the world but the less rubbish I see on here the less rubbish I feel…some WIP verdigris to help…🤷‍♂️😊

Another new book (😊) and I figured this may appeal to a few folks I know on here…not only does it fit with a certain demographic perhaps but also seemingly features the construction of some early Airfix kits…🤷‍♂️👍!

All massively a WIP still but starting to get somewhere with this lot…brush painting in this heat even with a wet pallet is a bit tricky…🙄
