Today sees Adventure Travel start operating services in the #Cwmbran area - A big Thank You to the wider team who have worked hard to mobilise these - A huge amount of behind-the-scenes work goes into every new route. It doesn’t always go to plan but more often than not, it does…

The hard work of the team at Cardiff Dogs Home, The Rescue Hotel - many of whom are volunteers - is admirable. Our customers voted for this local dog rehoming charity last year and we’re pleased to fundraise for them and support their great work.

The final countdown to the mobilisation of Manchester Tranche 3 is on… 19 hours until Metroline Manchester take over the operation of this depot (Ashton / Tameside) and 3 others. I’m seconded here for a couple of weeks to assist with handover and mobilisation.

Metroline Manchester operation now imminent! An incredible amount of work has gone into this mobilisation, undertaken by a superb team of committed, experienced colleagues. Great to bump into some ex Stagecoach South colleagues too, who were collecting surplus buses from Ashton.

Despite the best efforts of the British weather to unsettle our mobilisation, Tranche 3 is well underway and buses have left all 4 depots as planned. Here is an early morning departure from Ashton depot.

Whilst I’m temporarily busy in Manchester, the Welsh team re-started the operation of route 14 in Swansea today, which was briefly secured by another operator in May this year. Great to be back serving Pennard again with the same drivers who made it so successful prior to May.

One of 2 x 2017 Volvo B11R Levante 56 seat coaches bought by AdventureCoachlines a few months ago. Having just been painted into Bws BlackBerry, this coach is now out earning its keep on private hire and rail replacement work. Levantes aren’t for everyone, but they have their place.

Great to be back working for The Go-Ahead Group , initially in West Yorkshire for a few months. Here is one of four Volvo B7RLE single deckers used on route 571, newly awarded to Go Ahead, operated under contract to West Yorkshire Combined Authority

Today saw me visit ITV to meet with the Emmerdale team. Fourway Coaches have worked with the Emmerdale team for many years and our drivers love being involved. I couldn’t turn down a photo behind the bar of ‘The Woolpack’ between meetings 🍺

The Fourway ‘Platinum’ fleet exists to move teams like Halifax Panthers 🐾 who travelled to their game today with our driver Ashleigh.
