Mars? Boosted. Ideas? Launched. STEM club just used Brisk Boost to level up their rover designs—and we’re over the moon about it.

Yesterday, Chloe played with Makey Makey for the first time. She has since led three Makey Makey activities, tested different devices and planned future projects. Makey Makey has a bright future at Innovate Lab… unlike these bananas that have taken an absolute beating! #STEM

The children enjoyed playing with my Strawbees creations before building their own projects with the help of Strawbees Classroom. They were also obsessed with the Sierpiński pyramid! With Chloe’s help too, we had quite the assembly line going on! #STEM

The children enjoyed another fun-filled lesson with Strawbees, this time with more complex builds and Micro:bit Educational Foundation interactivity. They worked hard in their little groups to create a whale with moving body parts and a large radio-controlled truss crane. So cool! #STEM

I came bearing gifts! Chloe is now the proud owner of a Strawbees Imagination Kit, a Robotic Inventions kit and two Makey Makey kits. The three children that we tutored each gratefully received a STEAM Starter Kit and a Makey Makey GO. They will keep the creativity going! #STEM

It was an absolute joy to work in Paphos this week! Cyprus is absolutely stunning and so rich with history. I had some phenomenal food too!

I have recently been appointed as a school governor! I’ll share more details once all the paperwork has been completed. In the meantime, I’m reading My School Governance Handbook by Al Kingsley MBE to help me better understand the roles, responsibilities and expectations.

My student really enjoyed assembling the #mBot2 from xTool Education. He learnt a lot about robotics and documented the process on Seesaw. Next lesson, we will dive deeper into the mBlock coding platform to see what else these little guys can do! #STEM #xtooledu

I had a blast at CopleyPrimarySchool! I worked with Years 4, 5 and 6 to drum up excitement for my new STEM club. I’m now on my way to my other STEM club around the corner (I stopped halfway for an iced latte and a bite to eat). #STEM

My student is learning about shapes and angles with the Alvik robot from Arduino. We loosely followed the Geometric Adventures lesson on the Arduino website. It was a great way to learn geometry through coding - several lightbulb moments! #STEM

I’m back at Eureka! throughout half term for more action-packed building, coding and playing with robotics. NINE back-to-back days of fun and creativity. It’s going to be epic! Don’t miss it! #STEM

The calm before the storm! Day 3 at Eureka! was the busiest and most action-packed yet! My team and I have had a brilliant long weekend with the children and families but there’s plenty more fun to be had because we’ll be here for the rest of the week! #STEM

STEM club students at Salterhebble J&I Sch enjoyed learning about Micro:bit Educational Foundation. They were so excited to use the Robotic Inventions kit to enhance their Strawbees creations. They experimented with their code and the position of the servo motor for best results. #STEM

Our brand-new #STEM club at Cross Lane Primary School kicked off in style! The children learnt about fractals and the famous Sierpiński triangle. They applied these ideas in 3D to create a huge fractal pyramid using Strawbees. It took great collaboration and determination!

STEM club students at Salterhebble J&I Sch created wearable step counters with Micro:bit Educational Foundation and then personalised them with additional features. They’re developing a real sense of how the micro:bits work and what they can do. They’re starting to have very creative ideas! #STEM
