Cork and other Irish cities could learn a lot from Lund. 🇸🇪 This small Swedish university city has a strong cycling culture, light rail, abundant green spaces, and a people-focused city centre that is enjoyable to walk around without too many cars.

Provisional highest temperature of the year so far, recorded at #MountDillon, Co Roscommon 📍 (again) this afternoon. Today’s figure of 29.6°C tops yesterday’s 27°C at the same location, and marks the highest temperature since August 2022. 🌡️ 🥵 #BeSummerReady #SunSmart

Really impressive artwork of the sun "Helios" in St Finbarr's Cathedral for the Cork Midsummer Festival. A sequel to the moon in MTU (2016), and the earth "Gaia" in Cobh (2022). I believe tomorrow is the last day to see it. #Cork

Forget Kilkenny vs Tipperary. The greatest rivalry on TV today was during the ad break at half time. Denny Ham ad followed instantly by Brady Family Ham ad saying "what you need is a REAL ham". Absolutely brutal 🤣 #hurling #GAA

I propose an upgrade to Croke Park to accommodate the demand from Cork hurling supporters. (Made with AI) #Cork #hurling #GAA

Would be great for Galway as well as Cork. From my little experience using Galway's bus network, it made Cork's seem super reliable in comparison! A great city hindered by traffic.

Jakriborg, Hjärup. Located on the train line between the Swedish cities of Lund and Malmö, it looks like a historic medieval village. In reality construction began in the 1990s! A fascinating experiment in urban planning. Do all new neighbourhoods always need to look "new"?

Being from one myself (Cork), I always love visiting the second largest cities in different countries. Today Gothenburg did not disappoint, can highly recommend! #Sweden
