I still think this amendment should be made to the Elections Act. There is no problem with being an agent in more than one riding, but to be the official agent for more than one candidate in the same riding is an inherent conflict of interest and shouldn't be allowed.

So what you're saying is the government could have provided relief a lot sooner? Instead, during the inflation crisis Canada was the only country to raise taxes on energy when many other countries were cutting their taxes on energy.

In the PM's own words, we are in a "crisis" and he will be "laser focused on the economy". The Bank of Canada is sounding the alarm about economic risks. But the only financial legislation to presented in 10 months is to lower personal income tax by 1%... And without a budget,

Did the Liberals release their platform counting on $20b of tariff revenue they had secretly decided to not collect? Is one of the reasons we aren't getting a budget because there is now a $20b hole in their numbers?

If we are in a housing affordability crisis, why doesn't PM Carney and his MPs want to pass legislation taking the gst off of new homes immediately? Why wait until the "fall" for a budget to do it? Or why not sit through the summer to work on it and pass it as soon as it's

Duties worsen US housing affordability: "The U.S. currently imposes a 14.5% duty on Canadian lumber, and Canada accounts for about 85% of all U.S. softwood lumber imports, representing almost a quarter of U.S. supply, according to NAHB." cnbc.com/2025/05/21/lum…

The PM routinely uses the King quote to obscure or avoid any difficult and uncomfortable questions. Remember the "not necessarily pipelines, but maybe pipelines" ?

Central bankers have not been held accountable for their role in the affordability crisis. For well over a decade they pursued cheap money policies and underwrote loose fiscal policy by quantitative easing. They have played a leading role in pushing asset prices higher and

It shifts money from the poor to the rich. We would be better off if we had listened to Stanley Druckenmiller. Kevin Warsh or Jim Flaherty.

Budgets always include a 'Debt Management Strategy'. No Spring Budget means Canadians and financial markets are in the dark about how much debt the government plans to take on this year. In 2023/24 the government issued $471B As of Dec in 2024/25 they issued $536B How much do
