#Breaking Christopher Bishop has issued his decision on Christchurch City Council's alternative recommendations on Plan Change 14. There's some good stuff but it's a shame he's forcing CCC to keep heritage listing for Antonio Hall. Why shouldn't the CCC be able to make these decisions themselves?

If a 7-year old is able to write a submission well enough that a councillor can't tell whether its written by an adult - then good on them, and no reason why it shouldn't be considered! I don't want to live in a society where our children get no say in the future they'll inherit

Act says we need to dig for coal on kiwi habitat so that we can heat NZ. Don't they realize that the government's proposed coal mining on kiwi habitat is all for export - and is coking coal for steel making, not thermal for heating??? instagram.com/stories/350aot…
