I have a new piece in American Political Science Review with Lamis Abdelaaty. It previews a big idea from my book, arguing that misperceptions about *existing* policy are widespread, and correcting them can change downstream attitudes. cambridge.org/core/journals/…

These groups are a great way to learn in depth about and shape a crucial component of research data infrastructure. Highly recommended

I offered to send the child home with some animal stickers today to give their holiday booth a Yom Saint Francis Ha'Kadosh theme. The parent was not at all assuaged and said that animal stickers do not solve the problem at all because they do not have a booth of any sort. 5/6

I continue to be baffled that IT infrastructure as essential as NCBI PubMed/PMC have no status page. An important PMC API (eutils/efetch) is down for almost 2 days now, and I have no idea if they're even working on a fix. (Yes, I did report via website)

I really am not judging, but what's with college students & skimpy clothes in freezing temps? Do they just not get cold? Is it to impress? Are their winter clothes in storage?
