In a second preprint, postdoc Ella Hartenian and lab member Magalie show that NINJ1 is a restriction factor for HSV-1 in mouse macrophages biorxiv.org/content/10.110… We see that NINJ1 -/- cells are more infected than WT controls

We were thrilled to welcome Ada H. Liebenau at our event, where she provided a deep dive into inflammasome signaling. Her discussion covered how these complexes play a pivotal role in our immune response and the development of chronic diseases.
