Just because an item has a recycling symbol, that does not mean it is ok to recycle it. The number on the inside of the symbol tells you what type of plastic it is. In Atlantic County, plastics with the numbers 1, 2, or 5 are good to recycle. 👍 ♻️

Few connections rival the bond between a waste collections worker and a child on their route. ACUA Collections Driver Elpidio brightened a resident’s day with a thoughtful gesture. He gifted him a toy trash truck and adorned it with ACUA stickers. 🚛 Thank you, Elpidio!
