We would like to remind water users in #actonma that a 1 day per week outdoor water use restriction is still in place despite improving environmental conditions. This restriction was based on both drought & #pfas limiting our production. actonwater.com/conservation/o…

A water main break occured around 7:45 PM on Foster St. This has caused widespread loss of pressure & discoloration. The main has been shutoff & a crew is assembling to make repairs tonight. Some customers will have no/low water pressure, discoloration or air in the water.

We are currently responding to a water main break at the intersection of Route 2 and Taylor/Piper Roads. Some customers may experience low or no water pressure and/or discolored water. Please avoid this area if you can seek alternate routes.

TONIGHT (7/13), the Rt. 2 crossover at Piper/Taylor Rd. will be closed starting at 8pm. In coordination with Mass. Transportation & a local contractor, we hope to make the repair & resume normal water service before the morning commute. Some discoloration could happen on Monday morning.

Level 2 Water Use Restriction (Effective 08/08/25) Our new permit conditions require us to monitor Nashoba Brook in North #ActonMA. The gage has remained above the 7-day low flow of 0.57 cubic feet per second (cu ft/s) for 7 consecutive days, allowing for eased restrictions.
