Year 4 have had a great day learning about the Ancient Greeks. I wonder who is hiding under the masks?

Y5 have been loving starting our fractions unit this half term. They have been using practical fraction walls to help them compare, order and find equivalents as well as using online fraction tools on their ipads! #first4maths

Y5 are loving #WorldBookDay so far this morning. We are dressed as wonderful words and have been redesigning the book cover of our favourite books. We have also been creating our own book reviews using the IPads!

Y4 have had a great time at Delamere, climbing Old Pale Hill. Lots of geography skills used-map skills, compass directions as well as using our IPADs

Y5 had a brilliant afternoon in the local area today speaking to the community about Earth Day yesterday and how important it is to look after our environment. They gave our their own flyers and helped pick up litter in the area. #Earthday #litterpickers

Y5 had a brilliant afternoon learning acting skills from a drama teacher from Malbank today- acting like heroes and villains! Love some of their facial expressions! #drama

Y5 have loved being dressed as rockstars today as part of #NationalNumeracyDay and promoting our use of Times Tables Rockstars! We had a fun morning of number games and some Mathopoly!

Y5 had a very informative afternoon learning all about human gestation from a midwife and an obstetrician, as part of their Science. The resources were fantastic and they even got to hear a baby’s heartbeat! #Science
