What an incredible effort! A great mix of community data standards, beautiful visualization, and reproducibility. Awesome to see.

New Nanaimo Group paper by William Matthews . This paper tackles some really complex sediment routing history which has been one of the most intreaguing and difficult problems I've gotten to work on. Will does an incredible job communicating it.

Fantastic paper on how to actually quantify resources of old mine tailings. Papers like this are key to bring such #resources back into the cycle! Congratulations to Rosi Blannin et al et al. to this excellent contribution. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Had a great time speaking to CEGA about my Nanaimo Basin work done with Steve Hubbard and Rebecca Englert. It was fun distilling our learnings from trying to slice the basin like a 3D seismic volume for explorationists. Thanks to @zzsylvester for tips on forward modelling.

The final manuscript from my thesis is availble in GSA Bulletin. Quite happy with how this one turned out, after we were prodded by an anonymous reviewer to go the full distance with the Bayesian modeling. If you're out there anonymous😘 pubs.geoscienceworld.org/gsa/gsabulleti…
