Happy National Dog Day! There are some very special working dogs within the county; including the therapy dogs that visit at the Allegheny County Jail. We are grateful to have welcomed Panda and Dingo during a recent visit.

Congratulations to our new correctional officers who were sworn in last week. Friends and family attended the ceremony and celebrated with the graduates, who completed nine weeks of classroom and on-the-job training.
