Just putting this out there - should Fiji First decide to expel the 16 for not towing the party line and voting for the salary increaes - the following 16 are next in line and eligible to replace them and become Fiji First MPs.

Remember, apart from President & Speaker, everyone else in Parliament was on a 20% pay cut. So, after yesterday's vote, nobody is taking a pay cut - in fact everyone's pay is going up from 1st August. The biggest pay increase is for the Leader of Opposition $104,000

This is how they voted - Hem Chand, Faiyaz Koya and Premila Kumar from Fiji First voted against. Parveen Bala Alvick Maharaj and Aliki Bia from Fiji First didn't vote. Ketal Lal, Rinesh Sharma, Viam Pillay, Joseph Nand from Fiji First abstained & also Agni Deo Singh.

So in other words, a MP who received the lowest 438 votes will get a salary of $100,000 if reccomdation is approved!!! News
