Prof. Yessoufou Prof. Yessoufou was interviewed today by UJTV about his journey at UJ. This is part of UJ celebration of its 20 yrs. He used the opportunity to talk about the African Centre for DNA barcoding and its contribution to a better understanding of South African/African flora.


Mike is the acdb member of the month. He joined acdb as an Intern in 2013, became Lab-Technician in 2022. He declared "I enjoy working at ACDB because I always get the opportunity to do research about flora and some specific fauna". Acdb member of the month, Ms KHANYISILE SHABANGU, is the acdb lab manager. She has a very detailed and reliable institutional knowledge. Ms Shabangu is completing her PhD in plant taxonomy, supervised by the best in the country. Happy birthday Ms Shabangu!!! Kristen Hawley
