This mornings active regions (some of them) on the Sun. Daystar Filters Quantum .5 angstrom Ha filter, AP Stowaway refractor. Some other odds and ends. The Sun is really active right now and gorgeous if you have a solar scope!

This mornings Sun in Ha (Hydrogen) light. Daystar Filters Quantum PE 0.5A, AstroPhysics Stowaway. From my backyard. Yep, the Sun is amazing and dynamic, and changes rapidly.

Saturday's Sun. I had the Sky-Watcher USA Esprit 100 out already, and I popped on the PowerMate 2X and the Daystar Filters Quantum. I have a front mounted ERF which helps a great deal I think, but the focal ratio was f/11, which is WAY below spec for the Quantum. The Quantum

Well, I finally did a star test on my Sky-Watcher USA Esprit 100. Perfect airy disk on both sides of focus. A+ guys.
