the pitt reminded me a lot of the bear season one in that’s it was very no frills, with no aspirations towards “prestige” and is all about the tribulations of a workplace that basically runs on stress

what makes homcha so special is that dusik already liked hyejin from the moment they met even if he tried to play it cool. the way he was always popping up in her business, acting unbothered but clearly smitten? REAL ONES KNOW HE LIKES HER FIRST

i remember reading an article about the pitt and on how they wanted to depict what it really is like to work as a healthcare professional… the day to day struggles faced and it’s just so raw and executed so well. just such a great show

#ThePitt is a rare debut season of tv that doesn’t skip a beat with masterful writing throughout. By the end I was so attached to this ensemble I didn’t want to leave them. R. Scott Gemmill and team made TV history and it was exhilarating to witness

the other thing that made the pitt such a massive hit? it’s TV that’s not ashamed to be TV. it’s not an eight hour long movie chopped up into eight episodes; it’s an ensemble-driven episodic drama that centers the acting & writing first and foremost. oh, and it had *15* episodes!
