We were so impressed by this lino print created yesterday by Sophie, one of our Third Form Art award holders. The art department were particularly mesmerised by the beautiful use of colour and the way Sophie has brought such a sense of movement into her work. Well done Sophie!

We love this fantastic birds eye view of the Stonehill House extension at Bloxham School. It really demonstrates how well the design by Clews Architects Ltd utilises the available space. Photography - Andy Marshall 📸 #structuralengineering #engineering #extension #property

Great Coxwell barn in Oxfordshire was built in 1292. Dendrochronology has shown that some of its timbers were felled in 1256, whilst the majority were felled in the winter of 1291. It was part of a Cistercian abbey founded by King John.

England’s most common public telephone box is Giles Gilbert Scott’s K6. By 1960, there were 64,000 in the country; around 11,700 of these survive, and 2,000 are listed. We love this image of one such telephone box from our archive taken in 1958. 📞

Here is another fantastic rooftop image captured by Philip Sharman of The Branch Trust which we wanted to reshare. It highlights the cantilevered scaffolding to the rear of the property where excellent progress has been made to the new community hall. Architect- Clews Architects Ltd

Thank you to Rachel from Clews Architects Ltd who visited today. She shared the process of becoming an architect and what the job entails. I think she may have inspired some of the class to become architects in the future with her amazing designs.
