Actor Sanaa Lathan joined us for a conversation before a screening of Love & Basketball in 4K. Set in South Central LA, the film tells a love story while paying homage to the history of LA basketball and its culture—shoutout to the Lakers, Clippers, Crenshaw High and USC teams.

At the museum's 4K restoration screening of LA BAMBA (1987), Lou Diamond Phillips donated the original electric guitar from the film, crafted to mirror Ritchie Valens' Harmony H44 Stratotone. This moment included a panel with Daniel Valdez, Esai Morales, and Patty Rodriguez.
