Nelly Korda’s swing is about a second (perhaps a bit longer)… But her brain functions in milliseconds… With her body sending her brain chunks of data which the brain shapes as feeling…and her brain firing in thousands of patterns in milliseconds… Thoughts and feelings can

Too many golfers engage in dualism… In fact, just about all golfers engage in dualism…they separate mind and body. They say: "I'm working on my technique now" when in fact you can never work on your technique without impacting the mental side of your game. They say: “I’m

Bold statement…

Focus on the target is BS in golf…

It’s disembodied
It doesn’t provide room for swing feelings
It doesn’t provide room for swing thoughts
It invites in distractions as it doesn’t fill working memory
It has less to do with the golf ball than the swing (swing

Look at Tiger swing a golf club… What’s he paying attention to? What’s he thinking? What’s he feeling? A quiet mind? Punctuated only by a kinaesthetic feeling as he works the club back, down, and through? That swing of his…one of the greatest sporting motions of all time…is

Ambient neural activity + kinaesthetic awareness… As the club is swung the brain is working in milliseconds. It’s sending thoughts and feelings into conscious awareness at any given time (ambient neural activity)… As the club is swung the perception one has of one’s ability

Golf is what the ball does… What the ball does is determined by what the club tells it to do… What the club tells it to do is dictated by how the hands, arms, and body move throughout the swing… How the hands, arms, and body move throughout the swing is heavily influenced
