Proud to have been invited to be on a float with 100 year-old (!!!) WWII Veteran Sgt Urban at the Memorial Day Veterans Day Parade in Wash DC. Sgt Urban was in one of the units that freed my then 14-year-old mother from the concentration camp in Nazi Germany. God Bless America.

I always feel a little torn posting on a day like today. I never quite know what to say to truly acknowledge the brave Americans who lost their lives serving our country. Their sacrifice is impossible to put into words. They never came home because they chose to serve

Patriotism is not partisan. Every one of our soldiers who died, could not stand on a soap box when they bled from the strike of bullets, missies, or IEDs. They died for each of us to be safe; to speak to; to pursue our dreams. God bless their families & God bless America.
