Another very nice visit to 🤓Perimeter Institute and University of Waterloo 🇨🇦 with beautiful fall weather 🍁

Now published in IOP Publishing open access 💫 iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…

We have a new tool 🔨 in the box 📦 : Bosonic t-J models ⬆️⬇️🕳️ with staggered magnetic fields 🧲 in optical lattices — check out this latest collaboration with Johannes Zeihers team Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology here: arxiv.org/abs/2410.19500

We got something new and very exciting out: neural quantum state 🤖 simulations of the two dimensional fermionic t-J model across the entire doping range, with orders of magnitude less parameters than MPS: arxiv.org/abs/2411.10430 lead by Hannah and Annika Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology

Local control and bilayer optical lattices can simulate high-temperature superconductors and enable the study of important physical phenomena. Henning Schlömer Annabelle Bohrdt Article: go.aps.org/3ZQe18C Synopsis: go.aps.org/49yoMQg

Now published in PRX Quantum 💫 Check it out here: 🤓 📚 Article: go.aps.org/3ZQe18C Synopsis: go.aps.org/49yoMQg

Two rapidly rotating fermions in an optical tweezer realize the ν =1/2 Laughlin state. Letter: go.aps.org/3Dfju03 Physical Review A : go.aps.org/3VHaxTj Viewpoint: go.aps.org/3DfjtJx

This one I’m really proud of 🤩: our new method to simulate dynamics with neural quantum states: the tNQS 🤖🕚 which directly solves the time dependent Schrödinger equation globally 🤯 led amazingly by brand new Phd student Anka Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology arxiv.org/abs/2412.11830

Excited to see this published now in Nature Communications 🚀 check it out here: nature.com/articles/s4146…

The bosonic t-J model has been realized using three different Rydberg states ⚛️ check out this new realization of doped quantum magnets here 👇Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology arxiv.org/abs/2501.08233
