✨ Store Move Stories 📷Volunteer Kath Frodsham found a WD & HO Wills cigar box — made in the same Bristol factory where her gran worked in 1938. "She may have helped make those cigars! It’s amazing to connect my own family history with Northampton’s past."

✨ Store Move Stories: A glimpse of everyday life. This 1880-1900 fabric sample from a Weston Hall sewing box shows how Pryce-Jones, a North Wales mail-order pioneer, sold local wool worldwide. A reminder of life before online shopping when items were often handmade.

🐟 Store Move Stories – Eel Spear Once, eels swam the River Nene! This 4-tined eel spear, used in winter to catch burrowed eels, was found in a farm wall in Everdon. A glimpse of Northamptonshire’s rural past and ancient fishing techniques. #NorthamptonshireHistory
