#WorldPeace is one of #Rotary's aims. To raise awareness and funds for this, The World Orchestra for Peace will be performing their only 2019 UK performance at the famous #Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford 21st September. A great opportunity to see a great orchestra at a unique venue.

An unfortunate end to this year’s Abingdon Food & Drink Festival.The future is too uncertain for us to postpone. Loss of business for suppliers & stall holders. Loss of income from the event will also have a huge effect on what Rotary are able to achieve with our charitable work.

We won't be enjoying excellent food & drink on the 20th & 21st June due to @covid2019_info but many are hungry now that's why Abingdon Vesper have agreed for the moment to make a monthly donation to Abingdon Tweets #foodbank 🙂

Today would have been the 2nd day of this year's #abingdon F&DF. It didn't start off too well weatherwise but we will never know how popular it would have been having cancelled it in March due to #CV. No fun, food, entertainment or chef demonstrations & no money for charities ☹️
