Officially signed off for Xmas leave 🥳 reflecting on my first few months as an OT💚 it hasn’t been easy, a lot of imposter syndrome and being self-critical- but today was a good day. A reminder for anyone else, you are enough, you are doing enough, look how far you’ve come! #OT

My 2022 professional goal is to keep working on setting clear boundaries - I have definitely improved & I’m proud of that 🙌🏻 I thought these examples would be useful for anyone else working on this too 💚

I don’t think anyone can be completely prepared for the amount of learning in your first OT job, I thought I’d never ‘get it’, but I’m now finding that Im surprising myself with knowing the answers and I think..OH I have actually come quite far 🙌🏻💚 #nqot #OT #occupationaltherapy

After 2 years of dodging it, COVID has arrived in our household 😷 before now I don’t think I fully understood how exhausting it is 🥴

Since having COVID I’m still experiencing headaches, residual cough, difficulty sleeping at night, ‘brain fog’, and just overall exhaustion. I’m glad I managed to avoid it for so long and one things for sure, I don’t want it again 😩 here’s hoping it improves with time!

What is going on Primark holes in every single changing room curtain? 😬 surely at a bare minimum all shops should offer privacy in changing rooms? First visit in a very long time and now I remember why 🤦🏼‍♀️

On Friday I said farewell to an amazing Neuro team, fantastic rotation & the most incredible supervisors, in readiness to start a new venture soon for which I’m equally as excited as I am nervous! Trafford Occupational Therapists will always have a very special place in my OT heart 💚

I have a good few NHS trust branded tops/tunics that they did not want back when I left (I think due to covid!), how do we dispose of/recycle them safely since I don’t have space to keep storing them? 🤔
