Did you know that I use self-driving autonomy on Mars? My AutoNav system helps me scan for hazards and chart a safe course in real time based on parameters from my team back home. This was built on decades of work, shaped by lessons from rovers that came before me.

How long does it take to fly to Mars? On average, a mission to Mars will take about 9 months, and back-the same time. What will astronauts do on board the spaceship? First of all, it will be work, sports. But they can play games in their free time. Which ones? Here is the list ⬇️

Can you imagine 10,000 drones above the surface of Mars? If connected into a network, they could function as a “swarm system”—a distributed artificial intelligence capable of self-management and solving tasks without constant human input. This would resemble a “swarm brain”. 🧠🔴

I wonder if there will be one state or several on Mars? Will there be citizenship and a Martian passport there? 🚀🔴 So far, this is all a matter of the future and depends on how and by whom Mars will be colonized. At present we can consider several scenarios: ⬇️

Let's imagine. The first astronauts went from Earth to Mars. What further scenarios can there be? 1. Success scenarios. 2. Risk scenarios. 3. Future perspectives. Present possible scenarios of success ⬇️

Will a man and a woman from Earth be able to conceive a child on Mars? And will a woman be able to give birth on Mars? In theory, men and women could conceive a child on Mars. But pregnancy and childbirth there would be extremely risky: high radiation, low gravity, and lack of ⬇️

Meteorite NWA 16788 (Northwest Africa 16788) is the largest piece of Mars on Earth (~24.5 kg, ≈ 54 pounds). Found in Niger (reg. Agadezh) in November 2023. At Sotheby's auction in New York, in July 2025, the bidding price was $4.3 million, with fees and taxes of ~ $5.3 million.

The distance from Earth to Mars is constantly changing because both planets move around the Sun at different speeds. Min. distance (during opposition) — about 56M km. Max. dist. (when the planets are on opposite sides of the Sun) — about 400M km. Average dist. — about 225M km.

Martian meteorites are rare rock debris knocked off the surface of Mars by asteroid strikes and reached the Earth. They are distinguished by special isotopic ratios of gases that coincide with the atmosphere of Mars, and a characteristic mineral composition. #mars 🚀🔴

As of 2025, about 370 Martian meteorites are known (they are called “SNC meteorites”: shergottites, nakhlites, chassignites, etc.). They all come from a relatively small number of impact events on Mars — scientists estimate fewer than ten different impacts over the past 20M years

Mars rover Perseverance is currently on the surface of Mars, inside Jezero Crater. The distance between Earth and Mars is constantly changing due to their orbits. Mars rover Perseverance is now about 350–360 million km from Earth. ( video by NASA) #mars 🚀🔴
