Been talking to many suppliers to purchase equip, reagents. Can say New England Biolabs is absolutely the best to help start a lab- very responsive, good discounts. And strongly recommend "shop local" to keep down capital spending. Thistle Scientific has good quality equip at great prices.

Very happy to share new work UofG Sii Centre For Parasitology led by Jeziel D. Damasceno describing very abundant, previously undetected DNA replication activity in Leshmania using DNAscent, a technique developed by Conrad Nieduszynski 🇺🇦 Great work, Jeziel. shorturl.at/G7uRm

The cover image for this issue is fantastic! It's great to see that two Trend Talk articles are featured—one from a conference organized by my former lab, led by my PhD mentor Krishanpal Karmodiya and the other from a symposium organized by SPPIRIT members, of which I'm proudly a part.

I am honored to have been awarded the Small Research Grant from the SRE, which will support our efforts to elucidate how Toxoplasma gondii metabolically adapts to copper fluctuations during infection and to investigate the role of different copper transporters in this process.
