Offered to take a client to an AA meeting this week. I said to my boss "I won't share" so no boundaries are crossed, she said "then there's nothing in it for you" but as we know there is everything in just being a small part of getting someone to their 1st meeting. 🙏

Drove past a garage selling alcohol 24-7 & thought "that's good to know" .. had a little surge of adrenalin thinking about it. That's after nearly 3 years sober which is why I know my alcoholic brain is with me all the time. Luckily my sober brain had a little chuckle 😍

Sometimes people will ask me if it seems overwhelming that I can't have a drink the rest of my life. I tell them not at all because I can have a drink anytime I want ( I'm old enough, I have enough money).. I choose not to drink today and I plan to make the same choice tomorrow
