We found age change from 69->70 was associated with disproportionate decrease in surgery and increase in radiation for men with prostate cancer. Evidence that bias against left-digit of age affects treatment recs in this population. Now out in November issue of JU

Results from our JGIM paper on fluoroquinolone use in hospital UTI treatment over last 2 decades; FQ prescribing began to drop drastically around time of FDA black box warnings while CTX use significantly rose. FQ use dropped for all specialtiesโ€ฆeven urologists.
