something I think about a lot internal combustion engine is a technology that sounds completely nutty on paper like yeah let’s have a bunch of explosions going off with a human sitting right there yeah it’s totally chill dw you just gotta time them really well make it survive

This guy gets it. I competed on BattleBots and I don’t think it’s coming back unfortunately. Combat also isn’t the right format for a formula type sport. Game-based is where it’s at. Definitely need more funding going into this though. That’s been the hardest part.

anyone know how these heat pipes work on the unitree quad legs. marketing material mentions "a patented heat pipe-assisted heat dissipation system is built into the vicinity of the knee joint motor" the knee actuator is up above with the shoulder and hip though (linkage

if you've ever wanted to learn robotics, the best way is by building them to play games. setting requirements is one of the harder parts of starting any project. games offer a bounded constraint space where you can directly compare performance against others. either you score

i'm going to build a purebred 100% all american brushless dc motor just to see how hard and expensive and painful it is will post progress here. wish me luck 🫡
